Wordless Wednesday {goodbye Levi}

These photos were taken several months ago.

Two weeks ago, we had to say goodbye to our cat Levi :( He was old, and unwell.

Sadly, it was his time to go.

Chris and I had him as our pet for over 10years.

Last week, Ella drew him a picture, folded it and threw it off our back balcony. I asked her what she was doing...., her reply: "Sending this to Levi in Cat Heaven. The wind will take it to him!" Bless her.

RIP Levi.

[almost] wordless wednesday

Ok, Mother Nature....enough with this dreary, rainy weather, please!?

I'm over it!

Sunday, we were invited to a special little man's 1st birthday party. It was meant to be in a local park - but due to the uneasing, torrential rain - they had to go to Plan B....or actually Plan E I think ;)

A lot of people crammed into a confined space, while the rain continued to fall.

The little birthday boy was all smiles though....and that's the main thing. He was happy - the rain didn't dampen his mood! Chris helped cook the BBQ, I chased around after Ryder {aka Mr Busy}, the cake was goooood and the kids had a blast. Everything a party should be :)

A State Of Chaos.....{Wordless Wednesday}

Yesterday morning, I thought it would be a good idea to sort through Ella's million boxes of baby clothes! Once her room looked like this.....it didn't seem like such a good idea anymore LOL! However, the job is now complete & it feels good to be able to hand-me-down most of it to family & friends who have little girls :) And Ella's room is spotless with more room for more clutter again! haaa!
