[almost] wordless wednesday

Ok, Mother Nature....enough with this dreary, rainy weather, please!?

I'm over it!

Sunday, we were invited to a special little man's 1st birthday party. It was meant to be in a local park - but due to the uneasing, torrential rain - they had to go to Plan B....or actually Plan E I think ;)

A lot of people crammed into a confined space, while the rain continued to fall.

The little birthday boy was all smiles though....and that's the main thing. He was happy - the rain didn't dampen his mood! Chris helped cook the BBQ, I chased around after Ryder {aka Mr Busy}, the cake was goooood and the kids had a blast. Everything a party should be :)

Our house is officially on the market! We're feeling a mixture of sad, scared & SUPER EXCITED!!! I'm loving looking around for a new place to call home & planning for our future! But also sad to say goodbye to our family home we've known for the past 5 years....Ella's 1st home! Moving house is such a roller coaster of emotions....good & stressful :)

Happy Hump Day Everyone!

What do you think of my website's makeover? It's still happening....far from complete actually, but it's a start!! New logo, new fresh colours & a new look to better suit SPR's exciting new business direction :) I've been doing every little bit of it myself, whilst continuing orders, working as a Teacher, being a Mum & a wife! So bit by bit, night by night I've been chipping away at my little list of things to do on the site! Next....add all our prints so you can view & buy them directly from the site :)

Wishful Wednesday......

Another Wednesday is here....can you believe it? So on that note....I have another little list of lovelies that tickled my fancy this week, grabbed my attention & are playing on my heart strings:

I wish I had these cute little Matson Flats by Tony Bianco:

And I wouldn't mind these gorgeous Hand Woven cushions from Table Tonic {my lounge room chairs definitely needs a revamp}:

I also wish for Sarah Jessica Parker's new scent SJP NYC. It smells divine!

I wish my daughter's eyesight regains it's perfection ASAP! We took a trip to the Optometrist last week & was told Ella needs to wear glasses for the next 6-12 months! Our little Princess is such a little bookworm who loves to read, write, draw & paint a little too much....looks like all that close-up work has strained her precious little eyes! {The Optometrist assured me it's easily fixed & seems to be more & more common these days with all the educational toys & technologies our kids are exposed to!} She looks very cute in her new glasses though:

AND.....I am officially on 2 weeks holiday in only 2 days!!! {When I say holidays...I mean School Holidays....no teaching/no work/no chaotic mornings to get out the door on the time....for 2 whole weeks YAHOOOO!} So.....I wish for RELAXATION!!! {Well....as much relaxation possible with an energetic 2yr old & a MASSIVE list of things to do for Scissors Paper Rock...which I'm actually really excited about}

But... on top of those things to do, I also plan on plenty of reading & endless cups of tea/coffee:

And I'm looking forward to a Girl's Night Out with some of my very best girlfriends to Max Brenner & a Movie:

LASTLY on my list......I want to wish my gorgeous Husband a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! {It's not his birthday until Monday the 28th but I'm already in celebration mode & wishing him a lovely birthday weekend...made even better by our upcoming weekend away up the coast! xox}

Wishful Wednesday....

Ooooh this week's Wishful Wednesday List ALMOST didn't happen as my website was down due to some 'technical difficulties'.....but thankfully....at 9pm, we were back online.....phew :)

Here goes:

{Firstly, I wish I could mend my best friend's broken heart....I wish I could make it all better for her :( But I can't.....so I'll just continue doing what I can......being an ear to talk to, a shoulder to cry on, a house for her to come to, someone who will drop everything to be at her place for a cuddle & a chat, leaving little surprises & gifts at her front door or at work & reminding her she's an AMAZING person xox}

{Secondly, I sometimes wish that I could freeze time! I;ve been getting this desire a lot lately......I'm just LOVING this stage of life that Ella is in and I really want to savour every little part of it! As much as I look forward to the future and the adventures it will bring as Ella gets older....a little part of me just wants her to stay this little & fun for a bit longer :))) She amazes me everyday & I just can;t get enough of her!}

{Thirdly, I'm not the best decision maker.....I'm very good at procrastinating! LOL! But a big decision needs to be made right now in my life....so I think Hubby & I will have to hold on tight & take a big leap of faith together! Thank goodness we have each other.....the journey of life would not be the same without him!

I wish the 'right' choice was the 'easiest' choice}

{I wish for the new iPhone 4 as soon as it hits Aussie shores!! I can't wait to see what magic APPLE have up their sleeve this time! The reviews sound amazing!! Do you remember your first mobile phone?? Haaa....how amazing has technology come in only such a short period of time!}

{I wish I could get my hands on one of these Dior vintage tees!! Love it!}

{Lastly, I wish for a good night's sleep!}
