At My House......

At My House, I've been finalising this invitation order & sent it off last week:

I really enjoyed working with these clients on their upcoming 2011 overseas wedding! They ordered 100 invitations printed on our seeded paper. I was really happy with the simple, yet natural & elegant finish these invitations had! I love the texture & feel of this paper!

Also, at my house, I've been printing, organising, packaging & sending off PRINT ORDERS! I love that so many people are ordering my prints to give as gifts this Christmas! That really makes me smile! Thank you to everyone for their orders.....I really appreciate the support...and the feedback I'm getting!

{Yesterday's orders getting packaged & sent}

And today, I've wrapped a personalised 'mini garden' to give Ella's ballet teacher for a little Thank you/Christmas present this morning at her last ballet class for 2010 :( Oh, how we're going to miss her weekly classes with her gorgeous little friends & beautiful teacher for the next 5 weeks!!!

This afternoon, some time at home is needed to attack more cleaning, more packaging & organising more SPR orders to take down to the Post Office {we're on first names basis at the local PO now....I'm there so often hehehe....love it}! It's still raining here, so some more inside art n craft activities are on the cards today! I also was planning on taking Ella to get her photo with Santa this afternoon {she even bought him the cutest little present} but I'm craving an easy afternoon AT HOME! So Santa may have to wait til the weekend :)

Life's busy......but I'm thankful for that! Afterall...it is the SILLY SEASON :)

Happy Tuesday Everyone!

What's been happening at your house lately?

Spring Wedding.......{Real Events}

Early last month, I was called by a lovely lady in Victoria. Her name is Catherine & she is in the middle of the exciting process of planning her upcoming wedding! She had found my Seeded Paper invitations on my website & thought they would perfectly suit their "Spring Themed" garden wedding!! She liked the pre-designed layout of my Seeded Paper Tree Invitation and loved the idea of an invitation that is made of 100% recycled paper...and it also GROWS!!! She requested SPRING colours; such as; green & brown.

I sent them off to her late last week & here they are:

Wrapped, packaged & ready to go to the client:

I was really happy with how they turned out!! Simple & natural and perfect for a garden wedding....after Catherine & Mitchell's special day, their guests can plant the invitations...and they'll grow into gorgeous Callistemon Trees! An everlasting, earth-friendly keepsake to symbolise their wedding & love!

On Tuesday, I got this email from Catherine:

Claire, YAY!  Arrived today! just as I hoped ..... they are perfect.

Wonderful, unique and GREEN!
I couldn't ask for better service...
Thank you Claire,  for your great communication,  and printing a smaller
order of numbers.
Its been a pleasure.

I know who to call next time we need invites.

kindest regards
Catherine :)

What I've been up to.......{My Creative Space}

Do you remember back in June when I blogged about the Baby Boy Christening Invitations I made? These ones:

Yep those ones :)

Well...not long after sending them out to the lovely Kirsten, she then asked me if I could make some 'Thank You" Gifts for some of the Christening Guests! We decided on a Mini Garden from my Baby Boy Birth Announcement range! She choice a blue "Love in a Mist" flower seed....so sweet!

So I got to work.....And......Here they are:

Such a little precious keepsake for their guests :)

LEGO Themed Party.......{Real Events feat. SPR}

A couple of months ago, the Lovely Katena from Taylor Made Baking contacted me about doing some invitations for her son's upcoming 7th Birthday! I was super excited about this, as it was a theme I had never done before.....LEGO MAN!!! Cool hey?!

I came up with an invitation design & started to get to work. I was then hospitalised & out of action for a couple of weeks! Katena was so gorgeous to me during this time....she was so understanding & patient.....and I managed to get the invitations done & sent to her in perfect timing! Phew!

She then contacted me again to ask if I was interested in designing the Dessert Table Labels & the Party Box Labels!!! These were also a lot of fun to do as I got to play with some bright colours, cool fonts & crazy patterns!

Well.....the party happened last weekend & earlier this week, Katena started posting about it on her blog! She did such an amazing job! The dessert table looked fabulous & everything came together so perfectly! Her little man is a lucky boy!! And check out all the fabulous cakes, cupcakes, cookies etc....ALL made by Katena!

Here's some pics...ENJOY!

The invitations front & back :) Designed & Made by Claire Chadwick, Scissors Paper Rock.

Didn't I tell you....It was awesome!? I think every 7 year old boy would be very impressed with that!!!

I love looking at all of Katena's baked creations....she's so talented! I am going to ask her to do some cookies for Ella's 'Rainbow Party' in January! YAY!

Great job Katena!

Custom Order {Hen's Night}....

I had so much fun designing & assembling these little beauties for a lovely client this week! Kylie is planning her best friend's Hen's Night & asked if I could put together the invitations.....of course...I was thrilled to be asked :) Kylie had seen my seeded paper Hen's night invitations on my website & wanted a similar design but with a few slight changes, such as colour & layout! Perfect! I love doing custom orders!

And here they are:

Simple yet elegant to represent their fun girl's night out! She requested a black, grey & white colour scheme! So I layered Grey recycled paper onto black cardstock & embellished with 2x clear rhinestones {have I mentioned how much I LOVE rhinestones? Any excuse to use them....and I do lol} The wedding dress die-cut is made out of 100% recycled paper embedded with Australian Native Tree seeds....so it can be removed and GROWN! On the back of the invitation there is details & instructions on how to grow the dress :)

I dropped them off to Kylie in the week & she LOVED them :)

What do you think?
