Adorable 1st Birthday Party....

I have had the images of this party saved in my 'inspiration' file for a while now! And I thought I'd finally post them up tonight! This 'Milk & Cookies' themed First Birthday Party is amazing!! I would've LOVED to be a guest at this bash :)

This party was styled & hosted by Anne Powers of A Party Style in Connecticut, USA!

And..... she baked all of it herself.....SUPER MUM!! Oh my goodness....look closely at the intricate detail she has put into labelling everything and the delicious looking little cookie cakes on top of the main cake.....LOVE IT!!

I'm so inspired to design invitations to suit this theme & throw a 'Milk & Cookies' party :) My daughter's birthday is right in the brunt of our sickly hot Australian Summer! However, I picture eating warm fresh cookies and drinking milk & coffee on a cool day!!

So maybe we'll have to host a winter party.......just because :)

Horsing Around...

Each morning while I sip my lovely hot coffee, I explore the world of blogs & catch up on my regular reads. One blog I really LOVE to read is Celebrations At Home. Chris Nease is an American based party/event planner and her blog is always full of inspiration and flair! Check out this Inspiration Board she has put together for a client who is throwing a HORSE party for her daughter. I love how Chris puts together her Inspiration Boards, they always make me want to get creating on some new invitation designs (so….I guess they really do inspire hehehe). Browse through Celebrations at Home for some inspiration for your next party or event. Chris really does have a great eye for detail.
