Welcome to the bloggy home of Claire Chadwick. I'm the face & designer behind Scissors Paper Rock Designs, a wife to Chris, Mummy to the Divine Miss Ella & our newest addition; Baby Ryder. I'm a Primary School Teacher by trade, but recently shut my classroom door to pursue other BIG dreams of Freelance Writing. I am also excited to announce that my first Children's Picture Book {So Many Sounds} will hit stores in June 2013. This blog is my little online space where I weave together my reflections and stories of Motherhood. I illustrate with photos.... and drink plenty of coffee to keep me going. I'm on a mission to turn the mundane moments of motherhood into MAGICAL ones.

Join me in seeping as much goodness out of life, {whilst I continue to drink way too much coffee & take way too many photos} and together we can make the most of our WILD & PRECIOUS LIVES!

I'd love to hear from you....comment on my posts or send me an email. Buckle up, Enjoy the ride!

Live! Laugh! Love!

Posters for Kid's Rooms.........{by Scissors Paper Rock}

Earlier this year, I got a form submission from my website that really made me smile :) It was from a lovely Gold Coast lady.....a Mother of 2 gorgeous little toddler girls! From browsing my website & reading my blog, she had seen some of my print designs & had also discovered that I am a Primary School Teacher. She asked me if I was up to the challenge of creating some personalised, educational posters for her 2 little girls, including an interactive Reward Chart for their daily routine! I jumped at this opportunity! I create these kind of posters for my classrooms each year, but decided to start from scratch.....design something new for these girls, something I wasn't already using & something that I could call my own :)

Here's a little sneak of the posters I sent her last week:

{Above} Interactive Colour Chart.

{Above} Interactive Reward Chart for her 1 & 3 year old girls! {Stars attached with velcro dots}

{Above} Alphabet Chart for 3yr old...measures at 30cm x 40cm on thick 300gsm Silk Cardstock!

{Above: Animal Chart for 3yr old}

{Above: Personalised Counting Chart for 3 yr old}

What do you think? I'd love to know!

I am in the process of 're-doing' my whole website....and these children's posters will be added to my online store!

Have a great Thursday my friends....the weekend is almost here!
