One Weekend Wonder {3}

Oh hello Sunday night.

I'm pooped. Absolutely pooped. {yes, I just said pooped!}

What a weekend. A good one. But a busy, social, non-stop one.

After our usual busy Saturday morning of housework and then dance lessons, Ella put on her glitter shoes, Princess gown, blingy ring & tiara.....and off we went to a special Kindy friend's {Leilah} 5th Birthday Party. It was all kinds of lovely. Every little girl's dream. A room of pink. A sea of pretty princesses. Bracelet making, ballet dancing, party games & treat food. Ella had a blast.

My social little bug is growing up so fast.

Today; Sunday, here at our house we hosted a Chadwick Family reunion. My day started at 5:45am {due to 2 little energy beans!} and we were full steam ahead from the get-go, with tidying, cleaning, organising, washing and preparing. The day was loud, and full. And like all family reunions, there was lots of photos and laughs of 'the old times'. Cousins catching up for the first time in years, and relations meeting for the first time. We ordered in sushi platters, and devoured plates of nibblies and desserts. Drinks were flowing {I was enjoying many a glass of pink lemonade...thanks to the super strong antibiotics I'm on, I couldn't enjoy a wine....boo hoo!}. Kids were playing hide n seek in wardrobes and under beds. Babies were crying....the usual chaos, you know! It was nice.

However tonight, tonight I am exhausted. Chris's Pa is still here to stay the night, so on that note, I'm logging off.

**************

How was your weekend? Feel free to link up if you have a 'weekend WONDERful moment' to share :) I'd love to pop by to see :)

Happy Week All.

Oh yes. Saturday morning ballet classes set the tone for our weekend. Lots of dancing and prancing and skipping and pointed toes for the days that follow.

What a pretty dress Ella wore to that party - she looks SOOOO grown up! Your family reunion sounded fun (although I know how much work goes into preparing for family gatherings). Hope your week is quieter and more relaxing for you and that those antibiotics are starting to kick in xx
