Welcome to the bloggy home of Claire Chadwick. I'm the face & designer behind Scissors Paper Rock Designs, a wife to Chris, Mummy to the Divine Miss Ella & our newest addition; Baby Ryder. I'm a Primary School Teacher by trade, but recently shut my classroom door to pursue other BIG dreams of Freelance Writing. I am also excited to announce that my first Children's Picture Book {So Many Sounds} will hit stores in June 2013. This blog is my little online space where I weave together my reflections and stories of Motherhood. I illustrate with photos.... and drink plenty of coffee to keep me going. I'm on a mission to turn the mundane moments of motherhood into MAGICAL ones.

Join me in seeping as much goodness out of life, {whilst I continue to drink way too much coffee & take way too many photos} and together we can make the most of our WILD & PRECIOUS LIVES!

I'd love to hear from you....comment on my posts or send me an email. Buckle up, Enjoy the ride!

Guess Who?

The other day, I picked up a $5 version of Guess Who at Kmart. Yeah, it's a little flimsy and clunky, but for $5 - it rocks.

Each night, once Ryder is in bed and the kitchen is done; Ella, Chris and I do a few rounds of Guess Who before Ella's bedtime.

I forgot how much I love this game :)

Ella's got the hang of it now. She loves it.

The best $5 I've spent in a while.

Did you love this game when you were younger?

What evening rituals do you do with your kids? I'm always on the look out for new ideas :)

I loved Guess Who as a kid - I remember I went through a stage where Dad and I would have a game every evening after he got home from work. We don't have fun traditions here yet at night except for a bit of quiet time watching part of a DVD while I'm feeding Sophie and then a story before bed. I love our story time, cuddled up together reading a favourite book :)

I seriously loved that game as a kid! Fond memories. It's a great game for family time. Glad Ella is enjoying it. Cassie x
