Win some Happiness.

If you want to be happy, be. ~ Leo Tolstoy
The pursuit of Happiness. Something we all {well, most of us} are hunting for. For some people, the action or reaction of being happy comes naturally. These people have a positive aura about them, a contagious spirit & an ability to see the good & 'happy' in most situations. They are able to accept things, to forgive, to overlook, to not sweat the small stuff and to move on. For others, this emotion....or way of life....comes a little harder. They have to focus on it, work on it & analyse it. Either way....we all want to be HAPPY!
Me....I believe I am currently very happy. Hey, don't get me wrong....some days I'm so tired that I'm snappy and moody. And there's been many times in my adult life where I'm stressed due to money or responsibility or heartache. But for the most part, I'm happy. I like to search for the little things in each day that make me smile and make me truly happy.
The lovely Naomi {who blogs over at Seven Cherubs and who I had the pleasure of meeting at a Sunny Mummy dinner last year} is a Mother of SEVEN young children....yes seven! On her blog she shares openly about the struggles, stress & hard times she's endured as a Mother of a large family, and she talks honestly about her battles with post natal depression. Yet the main focus on her blog & the part I take so much inspiration from.....is her ability to stay positive, to be organised, to find joy....and in turn; BE HAPPY! She also hosts 'Happy Days' blog link ups and regularly gives tips on how she will and does find happiness in her busy life.
Late last year, Naomi launched her eBook: Pockets of Happiness. Creating Meaningful Moments in Your Life. I was so excited that she had written an extension of her blog and bought it straight away. During our week away up the coast in January, I enjoyed reading her eBook and was desperate to share it with you all.

The book is broken into chapters, that describe Naomi's reason for searching for happiness and her plan on how to find it. She breaks it down into believable & doable steps that leave you feeling very inspired.
And what I love most, is that after reading Pockets of Happiness, I realised that so much of mine {& other's} happiness is revolved around other people, and how they treat us &/or materialistic things. But really, at the end of the day....Happiness is about living & loving meaningful moments. And really living them! Not just going through the motions.
Today, I have TWO of Naomi's eBooks to giveaway to two lucky Scissors Paper Rock reader! And not only will two lucky people get a free copy of Naomi's book, but they will also get a mini Live Laugh Love print from my store {colour of winner's choice}.

Hi Claire, I'm a FB 'liker' of SPR. What makes me happy? ... my two beautiful girls, my wonderful husband, great family & friends. Life is good!
Hi Claire, I have recently become a reader of your blog and a liker of your FB page SPR. A few things that make me very happy are... My 5 month old falling a sleep on me when we are having cuddles. My 2 other kids telling me they love me and that I'm the 'bestest' mummy in the world. My wonderful husband who will often bring me a chocolate treat on his way home from work, and having coffee with my lovely friends. I really have been blessed in life!
Hi Claire,
I have liked your FB page.
The thing that makes me happiest is spending time with my family. It's always the number one on my list and has been for more than 20 years.
Thanks,
Kate

Hi, I am a liker of your facebook page (MissMel Kagie)
What makes me happy?
Seeing others happy, making other people laugh, helping other people. But most of all being together with my family makes me happy :)
Hi, I am a liker of your FB page. A few things that make me happy are: the sun on my skin, my children, husband, and family, driving (up until 6 months ago I was always petrified but overcame my fear, aged 32!), and chocolate!!!
I already like your facebook page. These days it doesn't take much to make me happy. Some 'pieces of quiet' (as my littlest says) go a long way to making me smile :) A good cup of coffee and some time with an understand friend and I'm pretty much there. Maybe add a beautiful cake and some children playing happily outside. Blissful.
I am a "Liker" on your fb fanpage (@new life on the Road) and also love your sayings that you sell (have shared them on our facebook before) !!
There is only two things that make me happy - my five boys getting along together, laughing, sharing and having fun. As well as making my hubby smile. Mostly those things are a "Dream" of mine but when they do happen then I am over the moon and amongst the stars happy :)
