snap it {breakfast}
Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at 12:38PM
Our kids rise early, so we eat breakfast early. Around 6:30-ish most mornings.
Fairly standard breakfast foods are consumed here. Juice or milo. Yoghurt and toast. Cereal and fruit. Muesli and porridge. Honey usually smothers everything, and large cups of coffee is a must. Sometimes we go the extra mile and make pancakes or bacon & eggs. Sometimes we eat all together, other days we all eat at different times.
However, breakfast is usually a fairly calm part of our day - so I take the time to notice the little things. Like the sun beaming in through the many windows. The reflections coming off the pool. The many birds chirping from the forest out back. And how cute his little podgy feet look, dangling in the high chair.
I love watching his little fingers grip and grasp at his food. Blueberries are the favourite at the moment...

And how his morning hair curls up at the back. So very, very cute...

And then...
Then the day begins..... messes are cleared up, new ones made. Showers had, kids dressed. And away we go....with whatever the day brings us.

Happy Wednesday All x

Totally sweet. I've never had early risers, apart from my soldier husband, so he sits on the bed while he eats breakfast. Love the blueberries, love Posie
